地球のこども2017年5月号今年こそエコツアーに行こう！

2017年は国連「開発のための持続可能な観光の国際年」（サステイナブルツーリズム年）なんですって。

ということで、環境NGOの機関紙5月号では「エコツアー」と特集で取り上げました。
私も、今や単なる観光としての旅は古いなーって感じます。とは言っても、じゃあどうしたらいいんだろう。。。。という疑問にヒントをくれる内容となりました。

「地域の文化や自然の切り売り」→「地域の経済・活性化へつなげる」

これまで進められてきた観光開発は、地域の文化や自然の切り売りとも言えるようなケースや、観光事業者が利益を得る仕組みでした。しかし１９９０年代からは、貴重な自然環境を保全しながら観光することで、地域の経済化へつなげる「エコツーリズム」や「グリーンツーリズム」が世界で取り組まれているというお話。

それに加え、国内の面白いエコツアーの取り組みを紹介しています。
